Sick of websites designed by engineers?
Boy, do I have a blog for you!
You know, I actually try to put work into making my website look nice. I'm just not very good and can only make things look like NSA spying facilities.
I mean I honestly like brutalist architecture, but there's a reason so many programmers like myself have their websites so "minimal," it's the only thing we can do, it's just making a concrete box.
So imagine how I feel when looking at a cute blog like this. It's so POGGERS. Why can't I do this? It looks so simple to do!! Like what the fuck!? I MAKE WEBSITES FOR A LIVING. WHY IS MINE JUST A GRAY RECTANGLE?
YEAH, SURE THE VERY EXPENSIVE FONT I USE IS SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED AS A "BRUTALIST RESPONSE" SO IT SOUNDS LIKE THAT WAS WHAT I WAS GOING FOR, BUT I ONLY BOUGHT THAT FONT AFTER I DESIGNED THIS WEBSITE AND REALISED HOW FUGLY IT WAS, EVEN AFTER I PUT FRENCH EVERYWHERE TO TRY TO DISTRACT YOU.
DID YOU KNOW I ORIGINALLY TRIED TO GO FOR ART DECO?? HOLY SHIT COULDN'T DO THAT AT ALL I FUCKING SUCK.
SO NOW I'M STUCK WITH BRUTALIST BULLSHIT BECAUSE THERE'S NO WAY I'M FUCKING REDESIGNING MY WEBSITE FOR THE 6TH TIME UNLESS I MOVE MY SSG TO RUST AND I FIGURE OUT A WAY TO NOT LOSE ALL THE WEIRD SHIT I DID (STUFF LIKE THIS) WITH SVELTE.
FUCK.
This is the most blog-like blog on the blogroll. Anh (don't know her last name, so you can't flame me for the informality) is a designer and writes about "stuff."
It's a nice looking site. Almost every page has a different design which is pretty fun. It's just a good blog, it's not that deep. Like cmon, not every blog here is just going to be about one of my neurotic special interests.
Out of all the blog designs I've taken, this is probably going to age the worst (in terms of being an accurate representation of the blog), considering how often she changes things. So when it does change, DON'T let me know, I'm not going to change it, I'm not going to change any of these.
Lastly, keep in mind that it seems like Anh thinks Destiny is a good video game. I wouldn't really trust her opinions on things if I were you. Just stick to looking at the pretty pictures.
